I’ve been retired since early 2006 and it’s absolutely true that time flies when you’re having fun! Now that I’m retired, it’s fun not to have to turn on the alarm clock unless absolutely necessary … like when my husband and I are off traveling and must catch a plane in the wee hours of the morning.

Before retiring from a full time J.O.B. as a computer trainer, I was also teaching part-time. That generally meant not enough sleep. I wondered if I was shortening my life span, but I knew at that time that I wanted to definitely see my boys get married and perhaps become a grandmother as well. Since then, both of my boys have married wonderful women and we now have three beautiful grandchildren.

So retiring was definitely the right decision. It also gave me time to work on my passion — building a scholarship fund funded by a home-based business. I researched various businesses and wanted to make sure it was not a scam or a pyramid scheme. I decided upon Vitamark International, a nutritional supplement company headed by internationally known Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter. Having personally tested most of their products, I am confident in recommending appropriate supplements to all of my clients.

Retirement also meant having the time to explore and exploring brought new opportunities. Learning energy healing brought new and exciting ways to help people heal themselves and thus, a new business was born. A secondary business was developed to help people in even more ways — the Gracefully Age Program, a multi-faceted partnership of support and encouragement. Specifically, I work with seniors and baby boomers who want to feel like they’re in their 20s again … except with better judgment. The road ahead is exciting as I work with seniors and write and seek products for the aging population.
